Vani Madhav is a distinguished Senior Odissi dance exponent of the Guru Debaprasad Das Parampara, with 40 years of experience in dance and over 25 years in teaching and research. Born in Odisha, she began her training at age six under Guru Gajendra Panda and later trained under Guru Sudhakar Sahu (SNA Awardee).

Renowned for her graceful performances, she has received acclaim from media and critics a like. She runs “Nritya Dhara” in Gurugram, mentoring aspiring dancers. A Senior Fellow of the Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India, she is also an empaneled artist for the Festival of India (Ministry of Culture), ICCR, and Doordarshan.

Vani Madhav plays a crucial role in various cultural committees, including the Ministry of Culture’s Scholarship Award Committee, Sanskar Bharti, the Central Board of Film Certification (Ministry of I&B), and the Tableaux Selection Committee (Ministry of Defence) for Republic Day Parade 2022-23. A versatile performer, teacher, researcher, and choreographer, she continues to contribute significantly to Indian classical dance.
